This was a great spot to bring the team over for lunch! We had our team drivers on a trip in Oakland and went over to Cafe Uccello for lunch and the staff took great care of us! We ordered sandwiches with sides and were very happy with the food! Would be coming back !!

My guy lives a few blocks from here. His go-to is a lox bagel with cream cheese on asiago bagel with a side of their garlic potatoes. I finally got to try it. Here it goes. Clean restroom, clean restaurant. Friendly service. Latte was nothing special, but it tasted good and was reasonably priced. I ordered a croissant with spinach, onion, egg and mayo. It was delicious. I am not a Mayo person. But this blended in nicely. Restaurant has extra tables so you can spaciously enjoy your meal while working on your laptop. Or enjoying time with a friend. Oh and my guys potatoes. Order those. Maybe not just before a first date. But definitely order them. I will definitely be back.

I love the vibe! Great place for kids and adults. You can write on the walls and even watch TV. There's a large room in back with tons of seating and even books. I liked my croissant with bacon egg and cheese. The berries were fresh. My iced egg coffee was really good too, definitely can't taste the egg. It's creamy. My husband had the mushroom burger he gave it a 6/10.

I love Cafe Uccello! The folks that work there are so nice and friendly and the food is terrific and the prices are more than fair for the quality and portion size! I love the turkey and the portobello mushroom panini (respectively). Their garlic potatoes are so delicious, my partner and I always have to get them when ordering food. We mostly come there for the delicious juices. My partner loves smoothies but hates bananas, which can be very limiting for him. Uccello has a big selection of banana-free options (and plenty with bananas, if desired). His favorites are the apri mango with chamoy spices (kind of like bebere/tagine spice) and the taro smoothies. The smoothies have milk, but the staff are more than happy to substitute with non-dairy milk. There are also chills, which are fruit juices blended with ice, which are perfect for hot days and lighter to drink. He also recommends the recovery juices for those days when he needs something more healthy feeling and restorative. We like hanging out here while waiting for May burritos next door. He'll get a delicious juice and I will sip on a Modelo while we wait. The ambiance is great for sitting around temporarily or longer, as I see folks camped out with their laptops and coffee.

First of all this food is BUSSINNNN!!!!! I ordered the breakfast croissant with turkey sausage, egg and substitute cheddar for pepper jack. Along a dirty chai (house made chai with a shot of espresso) with oat milk. The croissant is nice and flaky. They use REAL eggs and REAL CHEESE. The turkey sausage got to be house-made because it taste like love. This is a great atmosphere to get some work done. They have a large sitting area that gives a homey feel with markers to write on the wall. I definitely made the right choice of where to have breakfast today and in the future because I will be back! The staff is super friendly. Each item was walked over to where I was sitting from behind the counter. Royal treatment :-*

Newish cafe a boon in a dying area. The food is elegant. The bright, community forward decor is thoughtful and fun. Our cashier is very friendly and engaging. I got their signature crab melt and my friend got a simple egg croissant. The mimosa is a good portion of Prosecco and OJ.

Stopped in for breakfast when visiting Oakland for the weekend. Lots of fun drink options with a Middle Eastern flair - chai, rose, turmeric, etc. The staff was so kind and helped suggest what to try. The garlic potatoes were goooooood. Lots of garlic and herbs, so much flavor.
